Who you are dealing with

CardboardShaper is operated by Hobrecker Webdesign, a sole trader in the Netherlands, at Pisanostraat 320, 5623 CK Eindhoven, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42134492, VAT number NL005524107B72. What we sell

Generated files, delivered as a download. Two ways to pay for them:

• A single file. Pay, download, done. No account needed. The download link stays valid for 30 minutes and may be used up to five times.
• Credits. Files bought up front, at a lower price per file the more you take at once. One credit is one production file, and a DXF and an SVG of the same box together also cost one credit — it is the same box, written out twice. Credits sit on an account, do not expire, and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash except as set out under refunds below.

There is no subscription. Nothing renews, and nothing is charged unless you ask for it.

If we ever stop selling files, we will say so on this site in advance and refund every credit that has not been spent. Credits without an expiry date are a promise we intend to keep, and closing up shop is not a way out of it.

Accounts

An account is optional and exists only to hold credits. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. If you forget it, use the reset link on the sign-in form; it is sent to the address the account is on and expires after an hour. You may delete your account at any time by asking us to, and any unused credits are refunded when you do.

Prices

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where VAT applies. The price you see at checkout is the price charged; there are no fees added afterwards.

What you may do with the files

The files you generate are yours. Use them commercially, modify them, and manufacture any number of boxes from them. No attribution is required and no licence fee is ever due. You may not resell the generator itself, or present it as your own service.

What we do not promise

Every dieline is folded shut and measured automatically before you receive it. That catches construction faults a drawing alone does not: board running through board, a panel that will not close, a cavity that is not the size you asked for. It is a real check and it runs on every file we sell.

It is not the same as a proof. Not every box in the catalogue, at every size and in every board, has been cut and folded in real material — the number of combinations is far larger than anyone can physically test. The geometry is verified by calculation. Whether it runs on your converter, with your board, on your machine, is not something a calculation can tell you.

Board behaves differently by supplier, by batch, by grain direction and by humidity. Creasing rules, blade height and the amount of spring-back all vary by shop. A cutting die is expensive to correct and a print run is expensive to repeat.

So: always make a physical sample before ordering a cutting die or committing to a run. Cut one on a plotter or by hand, fold it, put the product in it. That step costs an afternoon and it is the only thing that catches the difference between a correct drawing and a box that works.

We are not liable for tooling, plate, print or production costs arising from a file that was put into production without a physical sample first. This does not limit anything set out under Liability below, and it does not affect your right to a file that matches what you configured: if the file itself is wrong, that is our problem and you get your money back.

Liability

Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to what you paid us for the file in question. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury, intent or gross negligence, and nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Availability

We aim to keep the service up but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; it runs on a small server and is occasionally restarted. If the site is down when you have paid but not yet downloaded, contact us and you get your file or your money back.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you made it, and the date at the top tells you which that is.

Which law applies

Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, except that a consumer may also bring or be sued in the courts of their own country of residence, and keeps the protection of the mandatory law there.
